Rodong Sinmun on Great Heyday of Construction This Year
Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- Juche 102 (2013) has been recorded in the history of the DPRK as a year of great heyday of construction in the era of Kim Jong Un.

The first characteristic of the great heyday of construction is the unprecedented speed.

Rodong Sinmun Thursday says this in an article.

It goes on:

In June this year Marshal Kim Jong Un sent a historic appeal to soldier builders of the ski resort on Masik Pass and all other service personnel and people across the country.

All of them encouraged by the appeal have turned out in creating the "speed on Masik Pass" for great leap and changes in the new century of the Juche era.

Grand edifices through which people will fully enjoy high civilization in the new era were all erected in a year. They included Unha Scientist Street, apartment houses for educators of Kim Il Sung University, Munsu Water Park, Mirim Riding Club, Okryu Children's Hospital, Ryugyong Dental Hospital and the ski resort on Masik Pass.

Kim Jong Un gave priority to quality in all buildings while leading the huge construction projects.

The idea of abiding by the principle of convenience first and architectural beauty next laid out by Kim Jong Un became the first standard in evaluating all the buildings.

What ran through the great heyday of construction in 2013 were the noble feelings and view on the people possessed by Kim Jong Un who worked hard to provide the most wonderful living conditions to the people as soon as possible by translating the wishes of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il into a reality.

The Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) is regarding the great heyday of construction this year which witnessed epoch-making changes as a stage of preparation for the period of great prosperity in construction.

The great successes made in the field of construction this year are a strong indicator of the period of great prosperity in construction to be ushered in under the grand plan of the WPK.
