Foreign Crewmen Meet to Remember Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- Foreign crewmen Wednesday met at Nampho Port to remember leader Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the second anniversary of his demise.

Prior to the meeting they laid a floral basket before the mosaic depicting smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were captains and crewmen of Vietnamese-flagged ship "Daiduongqueen" and Panamanian-flagged ship "Oupulai 18."

Speeches were made there.

Speakers said that Kim Jong Il was an iron-willed and brilliant commander who defended socialism from sanctions of the U.S. imperialists and other hostile forces and their moves to stifle it with his unique Songun politics.

Kim Jong Il inherited the noble idea of Kim Il Sung of believing in the people as in Heaven and devoted his all to the people's happiness, they said.

They stressed that now the Korean people are working hard to build a thriving nation and achieve the reunification of the country, united close around supreme leader Kim Jong Un, true to the behests of Kim Jong Il.

They noted that they extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people dynamically struggling for the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
