The painting materials, clear-cut in colors and good in coloration, are mainly divided into three kinds, professional, educational and decorative.

The Mansudae Art Studio and other major art studios in the DPRK have created with the painting materials of 30 colors a large number of art works. Some of them were listed as national treasures.

Jong Su Nam, chief engineer of the factory, told KCNA that the painting materials of "Paekho" trademark have been well received not only by local artists but by others in Asian and European countries.
