The acting secretary general of the Sunbula International Friendship Club who is chairman of the Libya-DPRK Friendship Association was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events for praising the noble revolutionary career and immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il between December 1 and 17.
