S. Korean Regime Slammed for Suppressing Democratic Forces
Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an article denounces the south Korean puppet ruling forces for kicking up a racket for eliminating the "forces following the north" to mislead public opinion and create a horror-ridden atmosphere of suppression.

This is a product of fascist intrigues to arrest the anti-"government" struggle of the people against such hideous frauds as the interference of the Intelligence Service in the election through a ridiculous coloring offensive and thus disorganize and stamp out progressive and democratic forces and quell the mass popular resistance, the article says, and goes on:

The conservative group's frantic racket for eliminating the "forces following the north" is a just copy of the "yusin" dictator's brutal method whereby he ruthlessly cracked down on progressive organizations and figures and patriotic people who called for independence, democracy and reunification by branding them as "pro-communist elements."

Such racket reminds one of the fascist hangmen who punished democratic figures and organizations on charges of being "spies" for the mere reason that they called for the same peace and reunification as what the north did.

What the puppet group is seeking through the above-said racket is to suppress the just struggle of people of all social strata for achieving democracy by labeling it rampage of the "forces following the north" and, at the same time, to sow seeds of discord among progressive and democratic forces and bar them from getting united, turn the whole of south Korea into a graveyard of democracy where fascist dictatorship reigns and thus realize the wild ambition for long-term office.

If people hesitate to wage a positive struggle and shun the unity of progressive and democratic forces, deterred by the conservative group's horrible racket, the whole progressive and democratic camp desirous of independence, democracy and reunification will fall a victim to the revival of the "yusin" dictatorship.
