Kim Jong Il Lauded by Bangladeshi Figures
Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- Bangladeshi figures issued statements on November 28 on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, said:

We look back upon the immortal exploits Kim Jong Il performed for the Korean revolution and the global cause of independence on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of his demise.

He was an outstanding leader who led the Workers' Party of Korea and the army and people of the DPRK to victory with profound ideas and theories and extraordinary leadership, being possessed at the highest level of the disposition and traits of a great man.

His immortal revolutionary exploits will shine forever in the hearts of not only the Korean people but the progressive people.

M. Zahangir Khan, chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy, said:

H.E. Kim Jong Il was an outstanding statesman who successfully led the anti-imperialist and anti-U.S. struggle and the drive for building socialism in the DPRK.

His demise was a great loss to not only the Korean people but also world progressive people.

We are sure that the army and people of the DPRK will achieve greater successes in the efforts to achieve peaceful reunification of the country and build a thriving nation under the Songun guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.
