After being briefed on the master plan for the construction of Kanggye City newly worked out to implement the on-the-spot instructions given by supreme leader Kim Jong Un, the premier looked round the construction site of the gymnasium of Jagang Province and the Jangjagang People's Pleasure Park, the Inphung Folk Garden, etc. to acquaint himself in detail with the city construction and beautification.

He visited the Kanggye Winery, the Kanggye Pig Farm, the Hungju Chicken Farm and the Kanggye Wood Processing Factory to learn about production capacity, technical updating and supply and production of feed for domestic animals. He held a consultative meeting with officials concerned.

He underscored the need for the industrial establishments in Kanggye City to glorify the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and work out a right business strategy and put enterprise management on a scientific basis as required by their actual conditions.

The meeting took measures for increasing the competitiveness of products and comprehensive utility rate of timber, putting the breeding and care of domestic animals on a scientific basis and sufficiently supplying materials needed for city construction.

Earlier, the premier visited different places including the Hwaphung Coal Mine under the Anju Area Coal Mining Complex and held a consultative meeting.

The meeting underlined the position and role of the complex and took measures for concentrating efforts on increasing coal production and called on the relevant domains to supply electricity and materials necessary for coal production on a preferential basis.
