Present there were officials of ministries, national institutions and social organizations and those in the field of public health and members of different missions of international bodies including the representative of the World Health Organization to the DPRK.

Speeches were made there.

Speakers referred to the importance of the work for preventing infection by AIDS virus and reducing the number of mortality by AIDS.

They stressed the need to intensify activities for preventing AIDS in close touch with the international bodies including WHO and UN AIDS Organization.

The participants watched a video on the prevention of AIDS and activities of consulting and examining AIDS conducted by the National Hygienic and Anti-epidemic Center.
