Support Rate for S. Korean Chief Executive Drops
Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- The support rate for the present chief executive of south Korea is continuing to drop, according to the Nov. 29 issue of the south Korean paper Kyunghyang Daily News.

According to the results of the opinion poll conducted by a survey institution among 1 208 adults across south Korea from Nov. 25 to 28, the support rate for the chief executive showed another 4 percent drop as compared with that one week ago. This was caused by the tough countermeasure taken by the ruling forces against the mass on the situation held by the south Korean Catholic Priests' Council for Justice, the survey institution said.

An increase from last week was also reported in the number of respondents who made negative evaluation of the chief executive for reasons that she did not keep commitments and practices dictatorship.
