Seasoned Rice Rolled in Laver
Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- From olden times, seasoned rice rolled in laver has been considered as one of Korea's traditional dishes.

An old book says the Korean people took rice rolled in raw laver together with soybean paste.

At present, the rice is rolled in dried laver with various kinds of side dishes.

The laver-rolled rice, smart in the look with peculiar flavor and taste, is regarded as one of necessities for picnic.

It is now enjoying popularity in Pyongyang and local cities in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

In Pyongyang, Moran Restaurant, located on Moran Hill, has carved out a reputation as the best cook for it.
