Mirim Riding Club in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- The Mirim Riding Club in the suburbs of Pyongyang draw a number of visitors every day.

The club, with an area of 60-odd hectares, has all necessary facilities for riding lessons, including outdoor and indoor training grounds and health recovery and service centers.

Trainers of the club kindly teach its visitors the arts of riding such as how to tame and run a horse.

The indoor training ground, 59.4 meters in length and 28 meters in width, is used mainly by aged persons and children and the outdoor training ground with 1 750m-long earth-sand track and 1 850m-long lawn track by young people.

In the outdoor training ground there are pavilions, man-made waterfalls and pond teeming with sturgeon and Ryongjong fish and a tented resting place.

After taking riding lessons, visitors to the club can have a steam bath at the service center and get various services at the recovery center, which houses a gym, massage room and others.

Kim Jong Sim, a guide of the club, told KCNA:

After the start of its operation, a large number of people have visited the club, some of them once in a week or almost every day. Among the visitors were bridal couples.

I feel pride of working at the club, seeing the visitors enjoy a pleasant time here.

Ri Won Chol, a citizen living in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province, said:

I and all my family members have just got service at the health recovery center after taking riding lessons. Now, I feel very refreshed.

It's my firm belief that a thriving nation will be surely built in this land under the guidance of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Not only local people but also foreign visitors expressed admiration at the excellent facilities of the club, hoping that the DPRK would make greater achievements in building a highly-civilized powerful nation.
