S. Korean Religious Organizations Declare Protest Action
Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- Representatives of the five religious orders in the Kwangju area of south Korea including Buddhism, Chondoism and Catholics held a meeting in Kwangju on Nov. 28.

At the meeting they said that what is taking place after the mass on the situation held by the Jonju Parish Priests Group of the south Korean Catholic Priests' Council for Justice in demand of the resignation of the present chief executive is obviously a crackdown on religion.

Re-clarifying the stand of the five religious orders, they declared they would not overlook the authorities' act of suppressing religionists by branding the mass on the situation as the "one following the north".
