Gyula Thurmer, chairman of the Hungarian Workers' Party, said this in his statement on Nov. 23.

Kim Jong Il, creditable successor to the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung, wisely led the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and his people in their struggle for accomplishing the cause of socialism and achieving national reunification, the chairman said, and went on:

His whole life was dedicated to his country and its people and to the victory in the cause of global socialism.

The achievements made by the DPRK in the political, economic, military and all other fields are ascribable to his energetic leadership and tireless efforts.

These successes would have been unimaginable without his leadership.

Marshal Kim Jong Un has not only wisely led the drive of the army and people of the DPRK for building a thriving nation but firmly defended socialism, resolutely frustrating the anti-DPRK moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers.

The Hungarian Workers' Party will support the Korean people in their struggle and always stand by the WPK.
