Settlement of Issue Related to Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army Called for in S. Korea
Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea held the 1100th Wednesday rally outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on Nov. 13 in demand of the settlement of the issue related to the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

Speakers said rallies have been held to settle the sexual slavery issue in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul on every Wednesday since January 8, 1992.

Japan is speeding up the preparations for a war of aggression, far from sincerely reflecting on the crimes including sexual slavery, they said, and went on:

The solution of the issue of sexual slavery is to protect the rights of women. We all should struggle to prevent the descendants from suffering such violence as sexual slavery.

The speakers urged the present "government" to opt for forcing Japan to make an apology and reparation for the sexual slavery as early as possible.

A statement was read out at the rally.

It said that the Japanese government is shamelessly beautifying the war crimes and busy with the moves for militarism, taking its back away from the solution to the sexual slavery issue.

The statement said the south Korean regime's silence hurts the victims and such regime is undesirable.
