S. Korean Regime's Pro-Japanese Act Assailed
Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- Minju Joson Friday in a commentary condemns the south Korean authorities for recognizing Japan's exercise of the "right to collective self-defense".

This is an unpardonable pro-Japanese act of selling off the dignity of the nation, the commentary notes, and goes on:

Japan is the sworn enemy of the Korean nation. Japanese imperialists illegally occupied Korea early in the past century and inflicted unspeakable pain and misfortune on the Korean nation, pursuing the most barbarous colonial rule for more than 40 years.

The Japanese reactionaries, however, are justifying their colonial rule while distorting the history of aggression, far from making an apology and reparation. Worse still, they are openly revealing their attempt at the aggression of Korea, claiming that Tok Islets, part of the inalienable territory of Korea, belong to them. Accordingly, recognizing their exercise of the "right to collective self-defense" can never be pardoned under any circumstances as it is a treacherous act of opening the way of their overseas aggression.

We cannot but take a serious note of the fact that such treacherous crimes are being committed as part of the moves to build the U.S.-Japan-south Korea triangular military alliance.

By recognizing Japan's exercise of the "right to collective self-defense" the U.S. is seeking to lessen its financial burden caused by its huge military expenditure and keep Japan under its control.

Meanwhile, Japan is making desperate efforts to tighten military nexus with the south Korean puppet forces and realize its ambition for overseas aggression with the U.S. backing.

The puppet forces are seeking to round off the triangular military alliance and do harm to the fellow countrymen in the north by relying on outside forces.

The whole nation can never escape disaster as long as there are the quislings leaving no stone untried to do harm to fellow countrymen.
