S. Korean Authorities' Moves to Enact Law to Disband Progressive Organizations Denounced
Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- The November 8th issue of the Kyunghyang Daily News of south Korea editorially criticized the south Korean regime for its sordid act to enact a law to eliminate progressive forces.

The paper accused a ruling political party of getting hell-bent on enacting a law for forcibly dissolving civic and public organizations at a time when the authorities referred a motion calling for judging the dissolution of the Unified Progressive Party to the puppet National Assembly for approval.

It is meant to grant the "government" the right to dissolve any organization that was judged as an "enemy-benefiting organization", a serious violation of conscience and freedom of thinking and assembly, the editorial said, adding:

The ruling political party is looking to preferentially handle the bill and even the Ministry of Justice began creating a legal ground for the dissolution of the "enemy-benefiting organization".

What is shocking is the party's open remark that originally it intended to specify the forcible dissolution of civic and public organizations in the "Security Law" but raised the issue separately as many people were opposed to it.

The Park Geun Hye's "government" is openly moving to reorganize not only political parties but civic and public organizations to cater for its taste.

The editorial warned that the people will never tolerate it.

It demanded an immediate halt to the proceedings concerning the bill.
