New Chinese-Korean Translation Programs Developed in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- A research group of Kim Chaek University of Technology of the DPRK recently developed new Chinese-Korean translation program.

In this regard, Department Director Ha Jong Bok of the State Science and Technology Commission, which sponsored the 24th National Software Contest and Exhibition from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4, told KCNA:

The program for translation of scientific and technological books presented to the contest and exhibition drew attention from visitors.

Chief Kim Tong Gwon of a section of the IT Institute of the university, when interviewed by KCNA, said:

The program is characterized by its high accuracy and speed in translation as it is based on up-to-date technology currently used in different scientific research organs.

On display in the exhibition were also Chinese-Korean translation programs presented by research groups of Kim Il Sung University, the Central Information Agency for Science and Technology and Pyongyang University of Computer Science.

The programs will be helpful to scientists and technicians in consulting Chinese scientific and technological books.
