Japanese Figures Urge Government to Roll Back Its Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Tokyo, November 10 (KNS-KCNA) -- Japanese figures including Fumihiro Himori, chairman of the Japan Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, and Seizaburo Ekuchi, representative of the Tokyo-Pyongyang Rainbow Bridge, visited the Cabinet of Japan on November 6 and conveyed to it a written request calling for friendship between the DPRK and Japan and the normalization of relations.

In the request they urged the Japanese government to lift sanctions against the DPRK and apply the tuition waiver program to the Korean schools in Japan.

They held that Japan should abandon the hostile policy toward the DRPK and opt for normalizing the relations according to the Japan-DPRK Pyongyang Declaration.
