Nepalese, Finnish Parties Flay S. Korean Regime for Seeking to Dissolve Progressive Party
Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- Nepalese and Finnish political parties issued statements on Oct. 30 and Nov. 2 respectively in denunciation of the south Korean authorities' moves to dissolve the Unified Progressive Party (UPP).

The Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (United Marxist-Leninist) said that the south Korean conservative regime let the puppet Ministry of Justice set up a "special team for measures against unconstitutional political parties and organizations" and stage a farce of examining a bill on the disbandment of UPP. It called the move undemocratic and illegal.

It can never be an illegal action to struggle for independent and peaceful reunification of Korea, free activities of a political party and its democratic rights, the party held, demanding that such fascist suppression in south Korea be halted at once.

The Finnish Communists' League said:

We bitterly denounce the south Korean authorities for intensifying the suppression of UPP.

Park Geun Hye and her yes men are busy with a wholesale offensive to dissolve UPP.

The activities of the leftwing political parties are legally guaranteed even in the Western countries.

We strongly demand the authorities unconditionally set free the detained members of UPP and stop such fascist action at once.
