Japan's Chief Executive Accused of His Attempt at Visit to Yasukuni Shrine
Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, 159 Dietmen of Japan thronged to Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo under the pretext of the great memorial service in the autumn season to attend the service. Japanese Chief Executive Abe made an ornamental offering to the shrine in his name, not visiting it.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in a commentary in this regard:

This reveals a sinister attempt of Abe to evade worldwide protest and denunciation against the visit to the shrine and fan up the atmosphere of the visit to it by Japanese politicians.

Not content with making an ornamental offering, Abe is looking to visit it during his tenure of office.

His attempt is nothing but an indication of his real intention to justify the past war of aggression stained with blood, eulogize special-class war criminals as "heroes" and "patriots" and let Japanese opt for a war of reinvasion by following them. This is evidenced by the fact that Abe used every opportunity to let loose a spate of rhetoric that the visit to Yasukuni Shrine is internal affairs and to pay respect for those who laid down their lives in actions for the sake of the country is a common practice in any other country.

The arrogant and shameless act of the Japanese reactionaries running headlong into militarization, far from repenting of the history of aggression, is further increasing the hatred for Japan of the Koreans and other Asian people who suffered huge mental and material damage by the Japanese imperialists.

Those who move to repeat the history of crimes are bound to meet punishment. If they are politicians with normal way of thinking, they should stop such a foolish act as pricking their eyes with their own hands.

There will be no future for Japan unless it liquidates its past.
