Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" and chairman of the Beninese National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize colorful events to widely introduce and disseminate the exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of his demise.
