U.S., S. Korean Anti-DPRK Moves Condemned by Ugandan Organization
Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- The Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement issued a statement on October 18 in support of the October 4 declaration adopted by the north and the south of Korea and the recent statements of the spokesmen for the National Defence Commission and Foreign Ministry of the DPRK.

In the statement the Ugandan committee said:

We deem it our duty to support the Korean people's struggle for achieving the country's full sovereignty and independence and the nation's reunification.

The division, confrontation and tension have persisted on the Korean Peninsula due to the imperialists' moves.

We urge the U.S. and south Korean authorities to immediately stop obstructing the confidence building between the north and the south of Korea and the Korean nation's reunification and respect the north-south joint declarations.

The U.S. should properly understand that the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula means that of the whole of the Korean Peninsula including south Korea, complete removal of the U.S. nuclear threat toward the DPRK and part of the world denuclearization. It should also respond to the just demand of the DPRK for resuming the dialogue without precondition.

We earnestly appeal to the world public to fully support the efforts to implement the October 4 declaration for achieving the prosperity and reunification of the country by the Korean nation itself and ensuring durable peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
