S. Korean Warmongers' Anti-DPRK War Drumbeats under Fire
Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Puppet Defense Minister of south Korea Kim Kwan Jin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Choe Yun Hui recently made much ado about someone's "provocation." They let loose a spate of warlike outbursts calling for "unhesitatingly taking prompt and resolute counteractions" and "blowing up bases of provocations and annihilating supporting and commanding forces."

Papers Wednesday observe in commentaries in this regard:

These are deliberate moves to escalate the north-south confrontation and tensions to an extreme phase and ignite a nuclear war.

Rodong Sinmun says: Intolerable are attempts of the warmongers to charge the DPRK with provocation and justify their moves to escalate the confrontation by spreading sheer lies.

The inter-Korean relations are now on the verge of crisis after losing the hard-won opportunity of improvement. The south Korean authorities are wholly to blame for this as they have been keen on provocations against the DPRK, abusing the north-south dialogue for confrontation. If they do not want to see escalating tensions, they should discontinue military provocations against the DPRK, to begin with.

Finding themselves in an extreme ruling crisis, they desperately seek to divert elsewhere the public attention and realize their ambition for invading the DPRK by screwing up the military tensions between the north and the south to an extreme phase. But it is a foolish move to precipitate their self-destruction.

The DPRK has already served warnings to them and offered opportunities enough to understand. If they persist in provocations against the DPRK despite its warnings, it will take strong countermeasures against them.

Minju Joson warns if the south Korean military warmongers intrude into the areas and territorial waters and air of the DPRK even an inch, its revolutionary armed forces will reduce the whole of south Korea to ashes.
