Rodong Sinmun Calls for Successfully Concluding This Year's Drive
Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday editorially calls for intensifying the drive for creating the "speed on Masik Pass" and glorifying this significant year as a year of great victory unprecedented in the history of the country under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The editorial goes on:

It is the steadfast will of the Workers' Party of Korea and the people of the DPRK to glorify this year crowded with a series of revolutionary happy events noteworthy in the history of the country as a year of great creation and changes for bringing about a turning phase in the building of a thriving socialist nation.

A drive for creating the "speed on Masik Pass," a new speed of offensive, a speed of a-match-for-a-hundred in the 21st century, raged under the leadership of Kim Jong Un. This marked an eye-opening event which gave full play to the mental power of the service personnel and people and brought about a great surge in the overall operations for the building of a thriving nation.

All service personnel and people grandly celebrated the diamond jubilee of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and the 65th anniversary of the DPRK amid high political enthusiasm by advancing like the wind at the "speed on Masik Pass," fully demonstrating the spirit of single-minded unity of the revolutionary ranks led by the great Songun brilliant commander and the might of the great Paektusan nation.

The great events and changes in the country are the fruition of the far-sighted plan of Kim Jong Un and his energetic leadership.

The drive this year proved once again that the DPRK will always remain strong and prosperous as it is led by Kim Jong Un.

It is the spirit and work-style of the Korean people to steadily advance to achieve bigger victories and greater leap forward.

The editorial calls on all party members, service personnel and people to keep pace with Kim Jong Un's speed of offensive and forced march and successfully conclude the drive this year at the "speed on Masik Pass".
