U.S., Its Allies' Joint Naval Strike Drill under Fire in Nigeria
Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- Alhassan Mamman Muhammad, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, issued a statement on October 14 in denunciation of the U.S. and its allies' naval strike drill targeted against the DPRK.

He accused the U.S., Japan and south Korea of staging a large-scale joint naval strike drill in the East and South Seas of Korea recently despite strong public denunciation at home and abroad.

The gravity of this drill lies in that it was staged, timed to coincide with the U.S. and south Korean puppet authorities' adoption of the "tailored deterrence strategy" which calls for a preemptive strike at the DPRK, he noted, and continued:

The "tailored deterrence strategy" calls for stifling the DPRK by mobilizing all military forces including conventional armed forces and the missile defence system of the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces, not content with the provision of a nuclear umbrella by the U.S., the world's biggest possessor of nukes. This, in essence, means the increased threat of a nuclear war to the DPRK and the completion of the scenario for a preemptive nuclear strike at it.

We fully support all measures taken by the DPRK to defend the dignity and sovereignty of the country and nation.

The Korean people will certainly emerge victorious in confrontation with the provocateurs as they are advancing under the outstanding Songun leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
