WPK's Important Days Marked by British Newspapers
Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- Organs of political parties of Britain dedicated special write-ups to the 68th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 87th anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU).

Organs of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) carried articles titled "Congratulations to WPK on its 68th anniversary," etc.

The Workers' Weekly on October 15 said that President Kim Il Sung laid down a unique line of founding a party right after he embarked upon the road of revolution, made full preparations for it in the days of the anti-Japanese struggle and founded the WPK without delay on the basis of them after the liberation of the country.

The organ recalled that Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il developed the WPK into a revolutionary party deeply rooted among the popular masses.

The October issue of the Line of March said:

The WPK is the powerful general staff of the revolution which has led Songun Korea along the road of prosperity.

It greeted a new heyday of its development under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

It will certainly achieve a final victory in building a thriving nation under his steersmanship.

The October 11 issue of The New Worker, organ of the New Communist Party of Britain, carried news that significant events were held in Britain under the sponsorship of various political parties and organizations to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the WPK.
