Members of S. Korean Teachers Union Declare Anti-"Government" Actions
Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- More than 7 000 members of the south Korean Teachers Union on October 19 held a meeting in Seoul to declare anti-"government" actions, according to the south Korean CBS.

At the meeting, the speakers held they can never accept the demand of the Ministry of Employment and Labor for changing the statute of the organization recognizing discharged workers as unionists.

They warned that if the authorities stamp out the legitimacy of the union, they will turn out in the anti-"government" actions with their all might.

At the end of the meeting, the participants staged a demonstration.

At the voting held before the meeting, an absolute majority of unionists expressed their will not to accept the "government's" unreasonable demand.

If the authorities finally enforce the measure of stamping out the legitimacy of the union, they will immediately launch legal counter-actions and wage a struggle for solidarity with international organizations and labor movement organizations, they said.
