Birthday of WPK Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- Lectures, film shows and book and photo exhibitions took place in Thailand, Vietnam and Brazil on Oct. 7 to mark the 68th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Displayed in the venues of the events were photos documenting the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display were their works and books and photos introducing the DPRK.

Films shown included Korean film "Pyongyang Today".

Figures and people of those countries were present at the events.

The chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand in a lecture said that Kim Il Sung closely rallied not only workers, peasants but also intellectuals around the party, unaffected by the preceding theory.

He said that the DPRK is throwing its rays in the world thanks to the Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung and the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il.

He noted that supreme leader of the Korean people Kim Jong Un is strengthening the might of the WPK and wisely leading the work for building a thriving nation, true to the cause of the preceding leaders.

The president of a company of Vietnam said that the film offered him an opportunity to know better about Pyongyang that turned into a beautiful city under the wise leadership of the WPK.

The principal of a college in Brasilia City of Brazil praised the undying feats Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed in party-building and the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
