Reception Given by Palestinian Ambassador to DPRK
Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Palestinian Ambassador to the DPRK Ismail Ahmed Mohamed Hasan gave a reception at his embassy on Friday on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present there on invitation were Kang Sok Ju, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kang Ha Guk, minister of Public Health, Thae Hyong Chol, president of Kim Il Sung University and concurrently minister of Higher Education of the Education Commission, Pak Kun Gwang, vice department director of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Hyong Jun, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and other officials concerned.

The ambassador said in a speech that the friendly relations between the two countries and peoples provided by Yasser Arafat and President Kim Il Sung are developing day by day thanks to the attention and care of President Mahmoud Abbas and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

He expressed belief that the WPK would make great achievements in the efforts to build a thriving nation and accomplish the cause of national reunification under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Kang Sok Ju said in his speech at the reception that it is the steadfast stand of the WPK and the DPRK government to steadily boost the traditional relations of friendship between the two countries provided by Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il together with Yasser Arafat.

The DPRK will as ever extend full support and solidarity to the Palestinian government and people in their just cause of retaking their legitimate national rights including the right to build an independent state with East Kuds as its capital, he added.
