Letter of Thanks of C.C., WPK to Soldier-builders
Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) sent a letter of thanks to commanding officers and soldier-builders of Unit 3154 of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces for successfully building the Okryu Children's Hospital as a monumental edifice in the era of the WPK.

They worked such a miracle as completing the hospital in a matter of a little over seven months since the ground-breaking by waging a high-pitched labor drive day and night.

They thoroughly implemented the WPK's idea of building all structures as required by the character and use of each building and its call for abiding by the principle of convenience first and architectural beauty next. As a result, they completed all facilities of the hospital in the best quality including the curative and treatment rooms and operation rooms to be convenient for the treatment of patients and children's living and impeccable in terms of architectural beauty.

A meeting for conveying the letter of thanks took place on Wednesday.

Present there were Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Choe Pu Il and service personnel of the KPISF and medical staffs and employees of the hospital.

Pak Pong Ju, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, conveyed it.

Then followed speeches.

The speakers recalled that Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un attributed all successes to the soldier-builders, highly praised them for successfully completing the hospital till October 10, the anniversary of the WPK, through a drive for implementing the party's idea and upholding the party's policies and bestowed upon them such great honor as making sure that a letter of thanks of the C.C., WPK, was sent to them.

At the end of the meeting the commanding officers and soldier-builders had a photo taken against the background of the hospital built thanks to their patriotic devotion and creative wisdom.
