U.S. Missile Test Designed for World Hegemony Censured
Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Recently the U.S. Air Force test-fired Minuteman-3, inter-continental ballistic missile, at an air force base in California. Three days before the launch, it test-fired a missile of the same type.

Minju Joson Tuesday observes in a commentary in this regard:

The U.S. launched inter-continental ballistic missiles one after another, reeking off the smell of powder, at a time when the world is standing for peace, reconciliation and cooperation. This is a military racket going against the trend of the times.

Whenever it felt the need to bring down other countries through the threat by use of force, the U.S. rendered the situation tense, wielding latest weapons.

Regarding the DPRK, holding high the banner of independence, Songun and socialism, as a thorn in the flesh, the U.S. has posed grave nuclear threats to it in a bid to stifle it by force of arms.

The hard-won atmosphere of peace and dialogue has been tarnished and the situation on the Korean Peninsula is being pushed into an extreme phase again due to the U.S. moves for stifling the DPRK by force of arms and escalating confrontation with it.

The U.S., however, test-fired the inter-continental ballistic missiles, putting more pressure on the DPRK with nuclear strike means. This fully reveals that the U.S. is the arch criminal wrecking peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in Asia and the rest of the world.

The world is forced to get embroiled in the whirlwind of arms race now that the U.S. is openly seeking the policy for confrontation by strength while dreaming world supremacy by military upper-hand.

The U.S. had better face up to the trend of the times and discard the old conception of confrontation.
