He said the founding of the WPK on Oct. 10, 1945 was a historic occasion for bringing about a fundamental turn in carving out the destiny of the Korean people.

The WPK is the party of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, he noted, and went on:

The President is the eternal leader of the party and the people as he founded the party and led it only to victory and glory.

Under his wise leadership, the party backed the founding of the DPRK by leading the Korean people to victory, and built a self-supporting national economy and established the socialist system centered on the popular masses.

Kim Jong Il is the eternal general secretary of the party who strengthened the WPK into the party of the President and led the revolutionary cause of Songun to victory.

Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people and first secretary of the WPK, is successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The WPK led by him will always lead to victory the Korean people in their efforts to build a thriving nation.
