Foreign Media Mark WPK's Birthday
Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Papers of India and Germany gave special write-ups to mark the 68th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Papers of India on Oct. 5 carried articles under the caption of "On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the WPK" accompanied with a photo of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

New Delhi Times noted that it is by no means symbolic that the WPK is holding Kim Jong Il in high esteem as its eternal general secretary, adding that his idea and line serve as the eternal guidelines for the party.

It continued:

The validity and the great vitality of his Songun political line are clearly proved in practice in the DPRK.

He always lives along with the ever-victorious WPK leading the general advance of the Korean people for building a thriving nation.

Passion India noted that the WPK is called the mother party by the people.

It went on:

The great leader of the mother party is First Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The love for people is the starting point of all his thinking and activities and the supreme principle and supreme objective of the politics enforced by him.

The party led by him will always emerge victorious, enjoying the absolute support and trust of the people as the mother party.

The German paper Rote Fahne in its October issue carried an article titled "The anniversary of the WPK" saying that the glorious WPK was founded on Oct. 10, 1945, and it has kept to the road of socialism under the wise leadership of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
