DPRK-China Tourism Photo Show Opens
Dandong, October 10 (KCNA Correspondent) -- The DPRK-China Tourism Photo Show opened at the Guomenwan Exhibition Center in Dandong, China on October 10.

On display at the show are more than 160 pieces of photos picturing the scenic spots in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and China.

In this regard, KCNA met Ri Ung Chol, director of the Tourism Guidance Bureau under the State General Bureau of Tourism.

He said:

"The show of this year witnesses more pieces of exhibits than that of last year.

The show is aimed at luring more Chinese tourists.

It will contribute to promoting the friendly relations between the two countries."

A manager of a travel agency in Dandong said:

"The show gives a glimpse of the development of friendly relations between China and the DPRK.

The visitors will have a better understanding of the traditional custom and beautiful sceneries of the two countries."

Yang Huipo, vice-director of the Giazhou City Travel Bureau in Liaoning Province of China, said:

"Dandong City has attached big importance to the current show.

The Chinese people are deeply interested in the sceneries of Korea.

I will make a contribution to developing the friendly relations between China and the DPRK with tourism."
