Korean Fine Art Works Popular among Dandong Citizens
Dandong, October 10 (KCNA Correspondent) -- A DPRK fine art exhibition opened at the Dandong Gallery in China on October 10.

On display there are more than 120 pieces of Korean paintings, oil paintings, jewel paintings and embroideries presented by the DPRK artists.

Ri Chol, head of the delegation of the Mansudae Art Studio of the DPRK, told KCNA that the exhibition would be conducive to invigorating fine art exchanges and developing the DPRK-Chinese friendship.

The chairwoman of the Dandong City Association for Exchange of Culture and Art said:

It is my pleasure to have the DPRK fine art exhibition in Dandong.

It is of significance in enhancing cultural exchanges between China and the DPRK.

The Korean fine art pieces are popular among Dandong citizens.

Looking round those fine art pieces on display, they get to know about the spirit of the Korean artists and their sense of patriotism.

The fine art pieces vividly represent Korea's long history and present-day realities of the DPRK.

Hui Chun, a Dandong citizen, said:

I was deeply impressed by all these exhibits.

They are indicative of the wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

I was admired at the Korean artists' habit of creation.

I hope that the cultural exchanges between the two countries would further develop.
