S. Korean Organizations Meet to Denounce Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army
Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- The 1095th Wednesday rally for settling the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army was held in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul on Oct. 9.

Present there were south Korean victims of sexual slavery, members of civic and public organizations and students organizations, members of foreign labor movement organizations and professors.

At the rally speakers accused Japan of having not yet made any apology and reparation for the sexual slavery enforced against Korean women in the past.

They urged the Japanese government to pay heed to the bitter voices of the victims who have suffered pain for over half a century.

They declared they would stage actions to prevent the sexual slavery from repeating itself again.

They demanded Japan make a formal apology and reparation to the victims of the sexual slavery.
