The president said in the message that he was pleased to send sincere and warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un and the friendly Korean people on October 10, the 68th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, on behalf of the Syrian people and on his own behalf.

He expressed his belief that the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would steadily develop in the interests of the peoples of the two countries by common efforts.

He wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the Korean people further progress and prosperity.
