Police Suppression of Pro-Reunification Organizations Protested in S. Korea
Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The Kyonggi-Inchon Confederation of the South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification and the Kyonggi Solidarity for Progress of south Korea made public a statement on Monday in protest against the puppet police fascist repression.

The police authorities urged dozens of plainclothes policemen and police mobile force to conduct sudden searches targeting the acting chairman of the Kyonggi-Inchon confederation on Oct. 4, the statement disclosed. It went on:

The police committed the reckless act by invoking the "Security Law" and Park Geun Hye regime's witch hunt-style suppression, reminding one of the era under the "Yusin" dictatorship, can never be overlooked.

The regime suppresses the advocates for implementation of the June 15 Joint Declaration, withdrawal of the U.S. troops and conclusion of a peace treaty, charging them with the violation of the SL and branding them as "forces following the north". Its way of thinking is not different from that of the "Yusin" dictator.

The public security authorities should immediately discontinue the reckless suppression of the reunification movement organizations.
