Story-telling "Voice of Mother" Held
Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Story-telling of youth and students "Voice of Mother" took place at the Central Youth Hall on Tuesday to mark the 16th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 68th anniversary of the WPK.

Author Ju Kwang Il of the Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea recited lyric poem "Eruption from Heart" leaving deep impression. The poem recollected the passion and delight with which the people elected Kim Jong Il as general secretary of the WPK.

Nam Hye Yong, lecturer at the Monument to Party Founding Management Office, and other speakers referred to the noble traits of Kim Jong Il who developed the WPK into the party of President Kim Il Sung and worked heart and soul for the country's prosperity by making high intensity forced march.

An Phyong Ok, graduate from Kim Il Sung University, said that she was honored to receive the autograph of Marshal Kim Jong Un for the letter she sent reflecting her pride of coming first in the national students' quick reading contest and swimming race. She said that the loving care for posterity shown by Kim Jong Il is being carried forward by Kim Jong Un.

Stories made by Ko Kum Song and Cha Hyo Sim from Kumya County touched the heartstrings of the participants as they talked about the benevolence of the mother party which has taken warm care of them and cured the bruise in their minds.

They expressed their will to display bravery of youth and make exploits in the present general offensive for building a thriving nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, upholding Kim Jong Il as eternal general secretary of the WPK.

Present there were Ri Yong Su, department director of the C.C., the WPK, Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the youth league Central Committee, officials of the youth league and youth and students here.
