Personages of Poland, Myanmar Praise WPK
Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Personages of Poland and Myanmar released statements on October 1 and 2 on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Juzef Lachut, member of the National Executive Committee of the Polish Communist Party who doubles as chairman of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw Regional Committee, said:

The heroic Korean people built the genuine socialist system centered on the popular masses and reliably defended the sovereignty of the country despite the ceaseless aggression moves by the U.S. imperialists under the seasoned leadership of the WPK founded and led by President Kim Il Sung, thus recording a brilliant page in the history of the world revolutionary movement.

The DPRK is shining as a beacon of hope of the progressive mankind.

It made a great contribution to defending the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and the region under the Songun revolutionary guidance of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The progressive forces of Poland strongly denounce all sorts of moves of the U.S. imperialists running amuck to secure a pretext of aggression against the DPRK.

Tin Tun, director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, praised the immortal party-building exploits of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, adding:

Supreme leader Kim Jong Un has further developed the WPK into an invincible guiding force true to the idea and cause of the Generalissimos.

I extend congratulations to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of October 10 and full support to the WPK and people of the DPRK in their just efforts for a final victory.
