The message expressed belief that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would steadily grow strong, wishing the Togolese prime minister greater success in his responsible work for the economic development of the country and happiness of its people.

On the same day DPRK Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun sent a congratulatory message to Robert Dussey upon the latter's appointment as minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Togo.
