Presented there were more than 260 pieces of farm machines of dozens of kinds and their spare parts and jigs invented and manufactured by officials, scientists, technicians and workers in the field of agriculture through scientific research and mass technological innovation movement.

Drew attention of visitors were deep layer plough, well-nourished cold-bed rice seedling transplanter, rice and maize thrashers and various other thrashers and video showing the process of farm machine production.

At the exhibition the Institute was placed top while Pyongyang City came in first, South Hwanghae and South Phyongan provinces second and South Hamgyong and North Hwanghae provinces and Nampho City third.

Swapped at the meeting were experiences gained in the course of inventing and introducing farm machines conducive to the development of the nation's agriculture. The meeting also discussed scientific and technological issues.

A closing ceremony took place Thursday.
