The messages and letters were sent by the chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, chairman of the Romanian Socialist Union, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Workers' Party of Belarus and the president of the Socialist Party of Benin.

They were also sent to Kim Jong Un by dignitaries of political, social and business circles and representatives of international organizations, organizations for the study of the Juche idea and organizations for supporting Korea's reunification and friendship with DPRK.

They included a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), vice-general secretary of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran, secretary of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress of Ghana, director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, councillor of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, secretary general of the International Liaison Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea and those in Russia, Nepal, Malaysia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, India, Japan, Norway, Romania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Britain and Nigeria.

In the messages and letters they said that the exploits President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed by leading the great anti-Japanese war to a victory to accomplish the historic cause of national liberation and making an immortal contribution to the prosperity of the country would shine forever.

They stressed that the beaming image of Kim Jong Il, who put the dignity and national power of Juche Korea on the highest level with his unique Songun revolutionary leadership, is always remembered by mankind along with the Day of Songun (August 25).

They expressed the belief that only victory and glory would be in store for the Korean people holding Kim Jong Un, another illustrious commander, in high esteem.
