DPRK's Birthday Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- Meetings, seminars, lectures, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Bangladesh, Ecuador, Switzerland, Uganda, and Tunisia from Sept. 6 to 9 in celebration of the 65th anniversary of the DPRK.

On display in the venues of the events were photos of President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were famous works of the peerlessly great men and photos and books on successes achieved by the Korean people in building a thriving socialist nation.

The participants in the film shows watched "The Tower of the Juche Idea", "Pyongyang at Night" and other Korean films.

The chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Socialist Party of Bangladesh and other speakers highly praised Kim Il Sung as the founder of socialist Korea and invincible iron-willed commander who defeated two imperialisms in one generation.

Stressing that the undying feats Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed for socialist Korea and progressive mankind would go down in history, they expressed the conviction that the Korean people would accomplish the cause of building a thriving socialist nation without fail under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea noted that the founding of the DPRK marked a great event to be specially recorded in the human history.

Thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the DPRK turned into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defense, recognized by the world, he said, adding:

We extend invariable support and solidarity to the people of the DPRK in their effort to build a thriving socialist nation and reunify the country, closely rallied around Kim Jong Un.

Messages of greeting to him were adopted at the meetings held in Switzerland and Tunisia.
