Participants in Parade Welcomed by Pyongyang Citizens
Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- The participants in the military parade for celebrating the 65th anniversary of the DPRK received warm welcome by Pyongyang citizens in streets of Pyongyang on Monday.

A long procession of trucks carrying paraders left the plaza of the Pyongyang Grand Theatre.

Officials of ministries and national institutions, workers and schoolchildren warmly welcomed the paraders in front of Pyongyang Railway Station.

As the train of trucks passed Chollima Street, Hero Street, Pipha Street and University Street, a lot of Pyongyangites warmly waved to the paraders in the streets extending scores of kilometers.

Members of art groups of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace and the Mansudae Art Studio gave performances and schoolchildren's bands played music, adding to the mood.

War veterans waved their hands to the paraders.

There were children waving their hands from windows of their houses.

Even foreigners and overseas Koreans extended congratulations to the paraders.

The columns of multiple launch rocket systems passed through Sungri Street and Changjon Rotary amid welcome by people from all walks of life.
