Rodong Sinmun in an editorial said the DPRK is a socialist state of Juche achieving prosperity generation after generation upholding the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu.

It is great honor and pride of the DPRK that it has displayed its dignity as an invincible socialist power while invariably glorifying its name, national emblem and flag for 65 years since their first institution despite all sorts of ordeals in the turbulent 20th century and the ever-changing 21st century, the editorial noted, and went on:

The great leader Kim Il Sung is the founder of the DPRK and its eternal President.

He created the genuine guiding idea of building the socialist state and gave perfect answers to all the theoretical and practical problems and developed the revolutionary government into the one representative of the independent rights of the popular masses and organizer of creativity and activities which looks after the people's living and protects their interests with responsibility.

His noble patriotic cause was successfully carried forward and steadily advanced by general secretary Kim Jong Il.

All the precious wealth in this land is a result of patriotic devotions made by the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. The history of the DPRK is proud and glorious thanks to the Generalissimos and their undying nation-building exploits.

The history of the prosperity of the DPRK is the sacred one of victorious advance based on the transparent faith of the Generalissimos in independence and an immortal heroic epic in which it has worked miracles in the history of the anti-imperialist struggle along the road of Songun opened up by them. It is also the history of valuing and loving the people in which the idea of the Generalissimos believing in the people as in Heaven has been fully embodied.

In another century of Juche era the DPRK has greeted the bright era of prosperity under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

All the party members, service personnel and other people should cherish the pride and honor of living in the great socialist country and more vigorously push forward the general advance for a final victory in building a thriving nation under the leadership of the party.
