Kim Jong Un Gives Field Guidance to Aeguk Stone Factory
Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, gave field guidance to the Aeguk Stone Factory.

He was accompanied by Choe Ryong Hae, Ri Yong Gil, Jang Jong Nam, Pak Jong Chon, Pak Thae Song, Hwang Pyong So and Ma Won Chun.

Going round different places of the factory, he leaned in detail about the production of building stone in the factory and its management.

At the room dedicated to its history he recollected with deep emotion the day when he visited the factory, accompanying leader Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Un highly appreciated the patriotic devotion and labor feats of the officials and employees of the factory, noting that it mass-produced and supplied varieties of quality building stone in the past, making a great contribution to successfully building grand edifices in the era of Songun.

He looked round different processing shops to acquaint himself with stone processing and operation and technical specifications of equipment.

I am pleased to see all the equipment running in full-capacity, he said, adding that quality of various kinds of building stone produced by the factory is very high.

I feel confident when watching the factory going at a high rate, he noted, adding that the sound of its full-capacity operation hardens his resolution to more energetically bring about a great heyday of the construction for the prosperity of the country and its people's happiness.

He looked with keen attention at various samples of building stone and processed stone on display in the exhibition of Aeguk stone in the compound of the factory.

Seeing pegmatite syenite called tiger-skin stone, he said its color looks heavy and its pattern peculiar. Touching green and white and bright ophiolite, he noted it looks nice.

Looking at varieties of stonework and stone fixtures, etc. he said the factory is producing everything with natural stone just as wood is processed.

The exhibition looks like a stone palace rather than an exhibition of building stone, he said, noting that a mere look at the factory makes one feel satisfied and it is a valuable one.

The factory has an important role to play in developing the building materials industry and increasing the proportion of building materials produced locally, he stressed.

He set forth the tasks to be carried out by the factory, calling on the officials and employees of the factory to contribute to the building of a thriving nation and uphold the party with increased production of stone.

The most important duty of the factory is to boost the production of building stone necessary for constructing magnificent and fashionable structures of eternal value, he said.

He underlined the need to take thorough measures for protecting the health of its workers from noise and pollution.
