U.S., S. Korean Warmongers Accused of Straining Situation on Korean Peninsula
Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Zhongnan Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China Sunday released a statement denouncing the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet warmongers for pushing the situation on the Korean Peninsula to an extreme pitch through their moves for a nuclear war against the DPRK.

The statement recalled that the U.S. imperialists let nuclear strategic bombers fly into the sky above south Korea for several times for DPRK-targeted nuclear strike drills during the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises and deployed them in a base for aggression around the Korean Peninsula.

This is an undisguised nuclear threat to the DPRK and an unpardonable grave provocation as it is a revelation of their sinister scenario to ignite a nuclear war on the peninsula at any cost, it noted, and went on:

Such war moves of the U.S. were joined by the south Korean warmongers. They are kicking up hysteria for confrontation, openly laying a hurdle in the hard-won atmosphere of dialogue between the north and the south. Such move is an unbearable mockery of the DPRK which has made patient efforts to defuse the tension and an anachronistic provocation going against the aspiration of all fellow countrymen for the development of the inter-Korean relations and the stability of the situation and the trend of the times.

We will turn out in dynamic actions till the compatriots win a victory in the struggle for peace against war with the tremendous might of the single-mindedly united powerful Paektusan nation, highly proud and honored to hold the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu in high esteem generation after generation.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers should halt their reckless nuclear war maneuvers as required by the times and withdraw all the U.S. troops including nuclear force from the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula at an early date.
