U.S.-S. Korea Military Drills Denounced by British Organizations
Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- British organizations vehemently denounced the U.S. and south Korea for staging Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military drills (UFG).

The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in their joint statement on August 13 said the joint military drills are an intolerable provocation against the efforts for detente on the Korean Peninsula.

What merits a more serious attention is that the drills are follow-up of the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle staged by the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces for invading the DPRK from March to April, the statement noted, and continued:

The UFG proves that "dialogue" and "peace" touted by the U.S. are nothing but hypocrisy and that there can be no peaceful co-existence with U.S. imperialism.

We demand the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces stop their war moves against the DPRK and the U.S. immediately withdraw its forces of aggression from south Korea.

We, at the same time, call on the Juche idea, Songun idea followers all over the world to wage a more dynamic campaign to support the DPRK.

The Korean people will foil the reckless war moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces and achieve a final victory in the building of a thriving socialist nation in the near future under the outstanding Songun leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association in its statement on August 14 lashed out at the joint military drills and expressed full support for the just cause of the Korean people.
