Soldier-builders Effect Great Upsurge in Building Edifices
Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- Marshal Kim Jong Un's field guidance to edifices now under construction in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea encourages the soldier-builders to effect great upsurge in building them.

Thanks to their devoted efforts, the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery have come into being in less than a year as edifices befitting the Songun (military-first) era.

Soldier-builders, mobilized in the construction of the Ski Resort on Masik Pass, have finished in July the building of structures of hotel, service and welfare facilities and scores of blocks of dwelling houses in the spirit of the "Masikryong Speed", paving a way for rounding off the project this year.

Those in the Sepho tableland reclamation, together with members of shock-brigades, reclaimed more than 30 000 hectares of tableland and built roads extending a total of 1 200 kilometers as of early August.

In Pyongyang, the project for building apartment houses for scientists has been carried out over 88 percent, covering public buildings, welfare facilities and afforestation.

In the project of the Munsu Wading Pool, they have finished the frame assembling of structures and water tanks.

A great progress has also been made in the project of the Mirim Riding Club.

Soldier-builders are now working days and nights, with an aim to finish the projects, including the construction of housing flats for scientists of Kim Il Sung University, Children's Hospital and Dental Hospital, before October 10, the anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
